ConsequentlyConsequently, the entrepreneur is frequently fount on the fringes of the corporate activity and may be inclined to grasp an innovation, perhaps a personal one, and design a venture to build and expand.  If your vision is to see your enterprise become a significant force in its industry, not just provide you with a source of income, you are likely to have been touched with the entrepreneur’s brush. Given that the flair is there, but you are constrained in corporate environment, consider the ten commandments of the entrepreneur {the in-house entrepreneur}:

  1. Go to work each day willing to be fired.
  2. Circumvent any orders aimed at stopping your dream.
  3. Do any job needed to make your object work, regardless of your job description.
  4. Find people to help you
  5. Follow your intuition about the people you choose and only work with the best.
  6. Work underground as long as you can – publicity triggers the corporate immune mechanism.
  7. Never bet on a race unless you are running in it.
  8. Remember that it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
  9. Be true to your goal but be realistic about the ways to achieve them.

If you are entrepreneurial by nature, interested in the broad picture and business growth, there is some evidence that you can sharpen those talents for achievement. The ability to communicate is important to the entrepreneur with two important strategies to employ: Ask Questions and Listen. The entrepreneur frequently progresses and commands by enquiry for it is appreciated that information is a powerful tool – and, questions can reveal new opportunity ideas. If an entrepreneur, you are a business sensitive person and will fully respect the importance of proper planning.  You will have to gather resources: finance, staff, markets, and will need the forecasts, strategies and schedules necessary to outline your objectives. As always, your Business Plain is fundamental to the formulation of your project.
