Entry Process
The business entry process consists of project assessment and planning your own business plan is part of the process. The process commences with a perceived opportunity, an opportunity can be like a gemstone in a mine –located after much digging and sifting. It can also be created as evidenced by the achievements of innovators and entrepreneurs. Some aspect of this apparent talent can be discuss as it is possible to cultivate a sensitivity to opportunity thereby developing a number a paths trough the Entry Process.
The Entry Process is simply one of defining your perceived opportunity and applying planning concept to determine if it’s realistic and viable. If it measure up to your needs and goals and meets the standards of colleagues and investors you should feel confident about proceeding with your project. If it’s not a comfortable balance look at other means of dealing with your opportunity –drop it and wait, or create something else. Few have the luxury of being able to pursue the Impossible Dream. Many people, over many years in many locations have inadvertently contributed to the experience and knowledge in this book.
The Entry Process will involve the obtaining information about the past, present and future of your opportunity, investigating and analyzing. Analysis, according to international intelligence organizations is a matter of singling out the factual and the relevant in all the confusion, the bias and the spectacular. It’s unrealistic to expect to have everything in place to make decisions. If it were possible the risk would be negligible and somebody else would probably have done it before. As well, if you feel obligate to secure all information before making a commitment, it’s quite possible that the market will have moved on. Procrastination can be as crippling as impetuous enthusiasm.
